The DE.M.CO Group is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Control Manager for its knitwear production lines. The role involves supervising, coordinating, and optimizing quality control across knit products (raw materials, prototypes, production, and finished goods), ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
Profile:
- Degree in Textile & Apparel (Production, Quality, Methods, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, preferably in knitwear.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes.
- Good understanding of quality standards applicable to garment production.
- Expertise in knitwear products (knitting, garment construction, and finishing).
- Excellent knowledge of quality standards and tools (ISO 9001, AQL, FMEA, 8D, etc.).
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure that manufactured products comply with defined quality standards (cutting, stitching, finishing, etc.).
- Identify and analyze production defects and implement corrective actions (in-line and end-of-line inspections).
- Perform visual and technical quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Manage product non-conformities (customer complaints and returns) and lead corrective action plans.
- Monitor and analyze root causes of non-conformities to prevent recurrence and improve manufacturing processes.
- Propose and implement improvements to product quality and production processes.
- Contribute to optimizing production procedures to reduce non-conformity risks.
- Ensure continuous training of staff on quality standards and control techniques.
- Verify the quality of raw materials (knitted fabrics, yarns, and accessories) used in production.
- Supervise incoming inspections of raw materials and manage supplier-related non-conformities.
