The DE.M.CO Group is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager for its knitwear manufacturing unit based in Monastir. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational and organizational management of the workshop, ensuring deadlines are met, production quality is maintained, and human and material resources are optimized.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in garment manufacturing methods or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and techniques.
- Proven experience in knitwear manufacturing, with a solid understanding of sector-specific requirements.
- Ability to plan, organize, and optimize production processes.
- Strong management and leadership skills to effectively supervise production teams.
- Ability to analyze and solve technical issues while ensuring quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise line feeding and balancing according to the production schedule and target output rates.
- Monitor operators’ productivity, analyze production performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure proper style launching in compliance with technical files, while managing alterations and second-quality items.
- Update production tracking sheets and optimize workstation layout.
- Provide continuous training to operators to enhance versatility and ensure consistent product quality.
